2nd Imblog Choice Awards

Indonesia Movie Blogger Community (Imblog Community) adalah komunitas para blogger yang mengabdikan diri (dan blognya) untuk membahas segala hal yang berkaitan dengan film. Saat ini, kurang lebih 44 movie blogger dari seluruh Indonesia telah tergabung dalam komunitas dunia maya ini, termasuk Sobekan Tiket Bioskop.

Kegiatan tahunan Imblog Community adalah Imblog Choice Awards yang diadakan setiap awal tahun. Ada dua predikat yang direbutkan oleh film-film nominasi di Imblog Choice Awards. Predikat Jawara akan diberikan pada film-film terbaik yang dipilih oleh anggota Imblog Community, sedangkan predikat Tersohor akan diberikan pada film-film terbaik yang dipilih oleh masyarakat luas, atau para pembaca setia anggota Imblog Community.

1st Imblog Choice Awards (google it!) yang tahun lalu diadakan, memenangkan film Inception dengan mudah sebagai film terbaik, baik pada predikat Jawara maupun Tersohor. Kemenangan Inception dapat dengan mudah terbaca dengan bagaimana hebohnya film arahan Christopher Nolan tersebut dibahas di dunia maya, maupun pada para anggota Imblog Community sendiri. Tahun ini, 2nd Imblog Choice Awards menurut saya jauh lebih seru. Lihat saja bagaimana film-film unggulan Oscar 2011 bersaing dengan film-film berkualitas yang muncul sepanjang tahun 2011. Simak saja nominasi di Film Terbaik, trio Oscar 2011 (Black Swan, The King's Speech, True Grit) harus rela berbagi nominasi dengan film yang memenangkan hati banyak movie blogger (Drive dan The Tree of Life). Berkaitan dengan Sobekan Tiket Terbaik 2011, tercatat ada 6 (dari 10) film pilihan terbaik menurut penulis yang masuk dalam deretan nominasi 2nd Imblog Choice Awards ini.

Nominasi berikut ini telah dipilih oleh anggota Imblog Community. Ketentuannya adalah film-film yang telah bersentuhan dengan publik Indonesia sepanjang tahun 2011 secara resmi; baik melalui bioskop, DVD/VCD Original, dan berbagai festival film. Voting untuk predikat Jawara telah berlangsung, dan sekarang saatnya anda untuk memilih di predikat Tersohor!
